Nic Stone is a New York Times bestselling young adult author of the book Dear Martin,  which explores themes of racial justice and race relations in America. Media Literacy Week 2020

What is Media Literacy?  It's an important set of skills that allow us to safely navigate our use of all forms of media, especially social media. These skills include Access, Analyze, Evaluate, Create, and Act. When we're media literate, we're able to apply all of these skills in order to safely and effectively use digital media.  This year, Media Literacy Week will be celebrated from Oct. 26-30.
